Golf for the 2026 - 2027 School Year

Welcome to the 2026/2027 school year! The Eldorado golf team is dedicated to inspiring students to learn about golf within a competitive, fun, engaging, and rewarding program.

Here are the key details regarding the upcoming season, team selection, and practice schedule:

•  Season Structure: The golf season is one continuous year, beginning in the fall (September and October) and resuming in the spring (February through May).

• Team Structure & Fall Qualifying: Varsity and JV roster spots and seedings are determined by a series of qualifying rounds that begin the first week of September. The top individuals earn their places on the roster through these rounds and will keep their seedings and roster spots throughout the year.

• Spring Evaluations: Any eligible student-athletes wanting to participate in the spring may do so through evaluations held in late February.

  • • Golfers averaging an 82 or lower for 18 holes (or 41 for 9 holes) will receive a challenge opportunity to establish a roster spot or seeding on Varsity.

    • Other participants will be seeded on the roster based on availability.

• Matches: Both Varsity and JV matches take place during the week from Monday through Thursday.

• Practices, Tryouts, and Evaluations: Held at Los Altos Golf Course, Monday through Thursday starting at 4:00 PM for all boys, girls, and JV players.
