Ms. Amy and Ms. Carmen Welcome to PreK, where our youngest tigers begin their school journey! Our classroom is centered around relationships, play, and hands-on learning. We love being in the classroom and treat your child as if they were our own.

About Ms. Amy / Sobre Ms. Amy
This is my 11th year at Dolores Gonzales. DG is my family, and I love being a part of this community. I was born in Alaska and grew up in Arizona. I'm a very proud tía to four nieces/nephews. I have a dog named Ziggy, and he comes to the PreK classroom for visits. I'm tall...6 feet 1 inch! I love to swim, eat, and travel. I'm passionate about learning and defending a child's right to play - play is their work!
Este es mi undécimo año en Dolores Gonzales. DG es familia y me encanta ser parte de esta comunidad. Nací en Alaksa y crecí en Arizona. Soy una tía muy orgullosa de cuatro sobrinas/sobrinos. Tengo un perrito (Ziggy) quien viene al salón de PreK para visitarnos. Soy muy alta...6 pies y 1 pulgada. Me encanta nadar, comer, y viajar (¡especialmente a Argentina!). ¡Me apasiona aprender y defender el derecho de los niños a jugar: ¡jugar es su trabajo!

Tengo trabajando en Dolores Gonzáles 19 años. Me llama la atención los niños de preescolar y disfruto mucho ser parte de su desarrollo de aprendizaje. Emigré de México pensando en hacer realidad el sueño americano. Tengo una familia completa; Disfruto de mis pequeñas nietas. También tengo mis convicciones muy firmes en mi fe. Por último, me gusta acampar y conocer lugares nuevos.
I have been working at Dolores Gonzales for 19 years. I am struck by preschool children and I really enjoy being part of their learning development. I emigrated from Mexico thinking about making the American dream come true. I have a complete family; I enjoy my little granddaughters. I also have very strong convictions in my faith. Lastly, I like camping and seeing new places.
