Organizing Google Classroom

Organizing Google Classroom

Label your Classrooms

Label your Google Classrooms with the following:

Period, Class name and level

Create Semester 1 and Semester 2 classes separately (suggested)

Labeling Assignments:

Number your assignments (Example: GC#2-Flipgrid)

Instead of students remembering the title of your assignment, they can reference them by numbers if they have a question or concern about an assignment.

Daily Agenda

Move Daily Agenda for each class to the top of Classwork page in Google Classroom. This is especially useful for absent students so that they can see what they missed in class without having to ask the teacher.

Priority Workspaces

Use the Priority Workspaces in Google Drive to get to your files faster. For example, if you update the daily agenda everyday make a workspace for just the agendas. We also do daily speaking activities and those are posted here as well
