I have been in the education field for 19 years.  Taught at Petroglyph Elementary for 8 years, and  was at Reginald Chavez Elementary for 9 years.  2020 was my first year as a counselor. I have a level III teacher license and am a licensed Educational Counselor. It brings me joy in helping students find their confidence by learning how to think for themselves and become independent learners.  I am excited to connect with and support students with hopes to provide a safe environment to build a foundation that will empower and motivate these students to be resilient to any challenges they may face. I am passionate about helping students reach their full academic, social, and emotional potential. I genuinely look forward to getting to know each of my students and their families at Petroglyph Elementary. 

When I am not teaching I am taking care of my two amazing children; Leroy and Khloe.
