"At the beginning of this school year I was pretty nervous because it was my first year at high school and because I was going to be in Choir again. When I was in middle school, at James Monroe Middle School, I was in choir for only about a week at the beginning of my eighth grade school year. I ended up switching classes because I was nervous about performing and I didn’t feel very confident. Then when I chose my electives for this school year I realized that the only way to overcome those types of fears is to face them, so I decided to try it again...."
