Welcome to the world of Science. My name is Dhionivy C. Bedina. I will be your Special Education Science teacher this year. This will be my 21st year of teaching and my 6th year at Cibola High School. I love teaching, investigating, and learning that we get to have in our class. I'm very excited to get to know each one of you as the year progresses.
Google Classroom Codes
Physics 1st Period: 5xe2hm2b
Physics 4th Period: nhubq2yn
How do I get into Google Classroom?
Log in to your APS account using your student ID number @aps.edu. Use the Google Classroom Code above intended for your class. Type this code to join the class. You should log into your Google Classroom at the beginning of every class to get ready for the day's lesson.
What if I were absent?
Log in to your Physics Google Classroom and read the daily post in the stream. I will have the directions for the day's assignment there. In the "Classwork", I will post the assignment and the supporting information that you need in order to complete the work. I will still be posting supplemental materials in Google Classroom, so please take a look and use the resources.
How do I contact you?
My e-mail is dhionivy.bedina@aps.edu. I will check my email in the mornings and throughout the day. Sometimes I can't reply to you during the day because I am in class, but I will respond during office hours. You can certainly email me after school hours, but know that I might not be able to get back to you until the next day.
What are your expectations?
Please review the pages in Google Classroom, the Classroom Expectations, and the Attendance Policy.
What supplies do I need?
3-ring binder ( small -1 inch for Physics only)
Spiral notebook (single subject with 3 punched holes)
You should also bring a pen, pencil, and highlighter to class daily.
Do you have a syllabus?
Please scroll down for the Syllabus. It is posted below.
How do I know what my current grade is?
You will be able to see your progress in Google Classroom assignments and in Synergy, but the only true and accurate grade will be posted in Synergy (StudentVue and ParentVue). That is where the grades for both platforms will be posted.
