About the Teacher

I am originally from San Antonio, Texas and I moved to Albuquerque in 2013. I have taught elementary school in both states and I have experience working with all age groups from Pre-K through 5th grade. I have been in a number of educational settings as a general education teacher, an inclusion teacher, a teacher for gifted, and as a rotations teacher for computer lab. I hold a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction, and I am a Level 3 teacher. This is my third year at the Ranch. I previously taught 4th grade here.

I have three wonderful children and 3 adorable grandchildren. I love spending time with my family as well as gardening and cooking. My husband and I also like to travel, hike and spend time with friends.
