Making Progress

Complete the activities and assignments in the order they are listed in your corse map. Each completed activity and assignment contributes to your overall progress. Complete activities and assignments by their due date to stay on track.

You are allowed three attempts on quizzes and tests. The highest of the three grades will be recorded.

Unit tests must be unlocked by your teacher of record. Contact your teacher of record and request that your exam be unlocked.

Grades

Edgenuity assigns each student three different grades:

Actual Grade: Your actual grade is the average of the work you have completed and includes zeros for work that is late. This grade is most similar to what you would see in a standard classroom setting and will be used as the weekly grade posted in StudentVUE.

Relative Grade: Your relative grade starts at 0% and counts up as you progress through the course. This grade will be used as your final grade for the course. (This grade also answers the questions “What grade would I have if I stopped working now? What if I got a zero on everything that is left?”)

Overall Grade: Your overall grade is the average of the work you have completed and does not include zeros for work that is late. This is not an accurate measure if you fall behind in coursework.

No new assignments are due on Saturdays or Sundays. The weekend is a great time to catch up or work ahead.
