Hi Everyone and Welcome to Alvarado STEM! I am the full-time technology resource coordinator and STEM teacher for K-5 students at Alvarado Elementary. I have been working with young learners since graduating from UNM in 2004 with a Master's degree in Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction.

I have been working with young learners since graduating from UNM in 2004 with a Master's degree in Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction.
I am licensed to teach grades K-8 with endorsements in Library and Media Science, TESOL, Technology, and Social Studies . I believe that all learning begins with a strong foundation of citizenship within the school and classroom community.

Outside of the classroom I enjoy yoga, running, and travel. I am a lifelong learner and I am currently taking Computer Science classes at NM Tech.
