HELLO ALVARADO ARTISTS AND FAMILIES!

This is your Virtual Art Studio! I have a variety of tabs for you to explore with resources and information. Every week I will update the Agenda so you know what we are working on. That page will have links to an instructional video and instructional slides.

This is going to be a year of growth for all of us. I believe using and understanding art is more important now than ever. We need ways to express ourselves and learn from the past. Art education provides us with those opportunities.

Students, I will be lucky enough to see you once a week for 45 minutes at the scheduled time, which you can find on the schedule page! If you want more time to work on your artwork outside of the scheduled time I encourage that. We will meet on our own art google classroom which your students will be invited to!

Art is a safe space where you can have ideas, feel your feelings and be with yourself creatively. I am honored to lead you through art making in this difficult time. Please feel free to contact me by email at anytime. I will respond within 48 hours. Thank you and happy making!

If you feel stressed about making art or are feeling less confident than you could, please refer to the artist mantra at the bottom of the page. Sometimes when you say positive ideas out loud it makes the stress go away :)
