Class Curriculum Lessons and Content

I provide core guidance lessons in grades K-5.  The topics are related to safety (child abuse prevention, bullying, relational aggression) and  socio-emotional learning (SEL), conflict management and decision making.  

Kindergarten

• Child Protection Unit (CPU) The curriculum teaches children to: recognize abuse and tell a trusted adult about it.  Understand what is appropriate and inappropriate touching ways of keeping themselves safe. 

• MindUP  program is a comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum structured around 15 lessons that focus the mind, sharpen the senses, and introduce concepts such as perspective taking, choosing optimism, expressing gratitude, and performing acts of kindness.

First Grade

Fourth Grade
