My research focuses on advancing cyber defense by developing detailed Bayesian models to analyze attacker reconnaissance activities. Key areas of focus include: (i) detecting and mitigating reconnaissance attacks, (ii) identifying features that inadvertently expose sensitive information to attackers, (iii) understanding how attackers form beliefs and make inferences from observed data, and (iv) crafting targeted deception strategies to mislead attackers during the reconnaissance phase. This work integrates statistical analysis, machine learning, and adversarial modeling to bolster cybersecurity defenses.
