A Little Bit About Myself
A Little Bit About Myself
I was born in a small town called Bladenboro in the southeast swamps of North Carolina. Born to a first-generation Bulgarian-American family, my childhood was different than others, with twice the thrill. I enjoy sports immensely, with some form of a ball game either watched, reffed, and played daily. As I went through primary, middle, and high school, social studies/history was the subject I enjoyed the most. Teaching runs strong in my life, from my parents both being educators/counselors.

I have been camping with my Boy Scout troop since 2011 and earned my Eagle Scout badge in 2017. Outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and swimming in lakes during summertime are some examples of recreation. When I turned 14, I started to work the summer camp program the local district offered. I taught basic Boy Scout material, such as knots and first aid, helped run an outside rock wall, and produced campfire skits for the campers. The friends I made along the way while doing fun activities together are second to none.
