In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore how major book awards evaluate and select titles and what that process can teach us about choosing high-quality classroom literature. Participants will examine picture books and take part in a mock book award election. Every participant will receive a free book and resources for future classroom strategies. 

4/22- Earth Day Virtual Author Visit 

Come celebrate Earth Day with us and bring curiosity to life in this virtual visit from author Leslie Barnard Booth, who blends nature and science into unforgettable stories. Leslie will inspire us to think like young scientists. Every participant will receive a free book and resources for future classroom strategies.
