How you register for your thesis hours depends on the prefix for your thesis course. Regardless of how you register, your registration must be complete by the end of the first week of classes.
if you are completing your thesis course through your home department; that is if your thesis course is anything except HON 4010---for example ENG 4510, CHE 4000 + CHE 4510, ART 4510, GES 4510, PSY 4511 + PSY 4512---you should work with the department hosting your thesis course to register for your thesis hours. Contact that department's departmental honors director for guidance.
if you are completing your thesis course as HON 4010 then you should complete the HON 4010 Special Course Registration Google Form. Carefully read through the steps on the form and then reach out to your thesis mentor for help in completing it. You'll need to work with them to determine your goals for this semester, the criteria for assessment for this semester's work, and your schedule of meetings. The form also requires signatures from your thesis mentor and their department's departmental honors representative—the departmental honors program director, or the chair if the department does not have a departmental honors program. The single college of business honors program director will sign for all departments in the Walker College of Business.
