Welcome to the 11th annual Global Symposium at Appalachian State University!

This year's hybrid symposium will take place on the 1st floor of the Plemmons Student Union in rooms 137A, 137B, 137C, 165, 169, and 122 and on Zoom.  The format and exact location of each presentation is indicated below.

The Appalachian Global Symposium is an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to share their global work on a professional platform while simultaneously contributing to global learning at Appalachian.  Symposium presenters will discuss a variety of topics including science, technology, business, education, music and politics.
