Psychological First Aid (PFA) is a practical, evidence-informed approach designed for individuals without formal mental health training. It equips them with the skills needed to provide support to people in the aftermath of a crisis or traumatic event. PFA focuses on reducing immediate distress, fostering resilience, and connecting individuals to resources for further care, making it an accessible and effective tool for promoting emotional well-being during challenging times.
Our RAPID PFA training offers an accessible, self-paced introduction to the RAPID model of Psychological First Aid, which focuses on Reflective Listening, Assessment, Prioritization, Intervention, and Disposition. This free, 2.5-hour virtual course is hosted on AsULearn Global and is designed to be interactive or completed at your own pace. With no deadlines, participants can engage with the material on their schedule, making it a flexible and convenient way to build essential skills in providing psychological first aid.
