The mission of the Appalachian Medical Reserve Corps (APP MRC) is to recruit and train volunteers in order to better support rural public health operations and bolster community resilience and preparedness.
TRAINING
TRAINING
All APP MRC members are trained in Psychological First Aid. Members also have access to various free training opportunities such as Basic First Aid, ICS, etc.

APP MRC's main focus is the needs of the communities we volunteer in. We recognize the importance of 'local'. Work for the community, by the community!
