Access & Equity: Disability & Study Abroad Coffee Talk
Just as cultures differ, for many countries and communities, so does the degree of access and availability of disability resources. Join the Office of Access & Equity for a cup of coffee and chat to discuss planning a successful and accessible abroad experience. ODR is here to offer considerations when studying abroad, offer tips and resources, and share how disability laws vary per country, and provide steps for ensuring a successful trip. This program is open to students who are considering travel abroad as well as instructors who are interested in learning more about how to support students with disabilities in their study abroad programs.
