Homework Policy

Dear Families of Fourth graders!

All students are engaged in a rigorous curriculum throughout the school day. Therefore, we will not be assigning daily homework except for reading every night. All reading homework will be recorded on the Weekly Homework Log.

Here is one article we feel makes some compelling points:  Effects of Homework. 

We urge all caregivers to read with or encourage their child to read something that appeals to them for 30-45 minutes per night.  

Below is a BINGO board of activities that might also appeal to your family unit.  These activities practice educational skills and get bodies moving.  We will not be correcting or grading this.  It is meant to provide structure and ideas in place of traditional homework.
