SNAP Benefits: Households financially impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) may be able to qualify for The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). SNAP offers food benefits to eligible, low-income individuals and families. Find out if you are eligible and how to apply for food benefits. DHS Food Benefits

There are a number of food pantries around the city (a comprehensive resource list is here Earl Blumenauer Coronavirus Resources), but wanted to point out one that is close to Abernethy. Catholic Catholic Charities (2740 SE Powell) has a food pantry open Wednesday from 12-2 Catholic Charities Food Pantry

The PTA Clothing Closet is closed during the pandemic. You can find food and clothing assistance information here: Sunshine Division Flyer

Students can receive 7 days worth of food from Nutrition Services. Pick-ups this fall are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:00 - 5:00pm. Here is the list of pick-up locations: Nutrition Services Meal Pick-Up Locations
