No you do not. We have our own entrance and parking. You can find more information about the location and parking for the 544 Cafe here.

The 544 Cafe is open to all WISD parents, staff, and the community of Wylie and surrounding areas. Because of national student nutrition guidelines, we are unable to serve WISD students unless they are with their own guardian.

We happily accept cash and credit cards.

Yes! All tips are gathered throughout the year and awarded as scholarships to 544 Cafe Employees in the form of a scholarship. Last year we were able to give over $3,000 because of the generosity of our guests.

All students working in the 544 Cafe have at least one year of safety and sanitation training and must have a valid Texas Food Handler's Certification. In addition, all food is prepared under the direct supervision of a Chef Instructor or Restaurant Manager who all hold a Texas Food Manager Certification.

Our Cafe is visited twice a year by the Health Department and must pass inspection like any other restaurant.

Yes, however the students are our number one priority, so we reserve the right to decline any event that would conflict with student schedules. We have hosted banquets and lunches for many organizations including the Wylie Chamber of Commerce, several WHS clubs, and the Wylie Teen Court. Because we prioritize our students' safety, we do not offer delivery except for on the WHS campus. Delivery is available through Door Dash, but you can only place orders when we are open for service.

Our menu changes typically changes once a year and then as needed based on performance. As the students gain experience in the Cafe, we add weekly specials which are posted to our Facebook page.
