Would you know what to do if you were attacked? Learn simple and practical techniques to defend yourself during this self-defense workshop lead by 6th degree black belt Adam Rylski, the chief instructor at the Assembly of Martial Arts Acadamy!
No prior experience is required. Dress in comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
This workshop is open to kids and teens entering 6th-12th grade.
Registration is REQUIRED and space is limited. If you are unable to attend, please call the library at least 24 hours in advance so we may accommodate people on the waiting list.
Pet Professions with the CT Humane Society
Do you love animals, and think you may be interested in a career in the animal welfare field? Join us for a presentation by the Connecticut Humane Society on pet professions! This program offers students a look at the wide array of careers in the animal welfare field. Students will learn about the skills and education needed for different positions and hear about a typical work day from CHS staff.
