Using original artwork and words, we invite all Stark County youth to create art that illustrates how they spread kindness throughout their own school, neighborhood, or community.

Given the constraints of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's art show will once again be going virtual! All Stark County students, PK-12, are welcome to submit their own original art pieces to be placed in our virtual art show website for all to visit! This is your opportunity for everyone to see your amazing artwork while also helping to spread kindness throughout Stark County. Get inspiration for your artwork by reading one of the following texts: I’m Proud of You - My Friendship with Fred Rogers (Official Adult and High School Selection), You Are my Friend (Suggested middle and elementary school selection), or Fred's Big Feelings (Suggested middle and elementary school selection).

Once you've gotten your inspiration and are ready to create, please follow these guidelines for submission:

2021 Art Show Guidelines

  1. Original artwork only. We will accept all art forms that can be photographed or scanned and submitted electronically.

  2. You must complete the submission form including student and school information.

  3. Submission form includes media release form for parent/guardian completion.

  4. We accept submissions from both individuals or groups.

How to name your image file:

Image files must be named as follows: TitleOfArtPiece_ArtistFirst_ArtistLast_SchoolDistrict_GradeLevel

Example: Kindness All Around!_Sally_Smith_StarkESC_Grade3

We are happy to accept your original artwork electronically! Please take care to scan or photograph original artwork in its best light and submit your photo, artist information, and media release form by using the Google Form to the left of by clicking here.

Teachers: If you are looking to submit the work of more than five students at the same time, please contact matthew.mays@apps.sparcc.org

All submitted artwork will be shared publicly as a part of the "One Book" virtual art exhibit!
