The vision of the Null Middle School Counseling Department is to utilize the necessary skills that are required for post-secondary pursuits. Our students demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively, think critically, accomplish academic ambitions, and self-advocate which promotes personal agency and encourages resiliency.

SB12 Annual Consent Form

During the 89th Texas Legislative Session, lawmakers passed Senate Bill 12, which requires schools to get annual parental consent before providing routine physical or mental health services. This includes things like first aid, short-term counseling, or social emotional support. To complete the consent form in Skyward:

Locate the 2025-26 Student Handbook Form
Indicate whether or not you consent.

Kindness Week

Rising 6th graders

It is time for our current 5th grade Sheldon ISD elementary to start selecting their electives for the upcoming 6th grade year. Please make sure to fill out the google form to reflect what you have on your registration form.

Important Dates:

February 19 - Parent Night @ 5:30 p.m. King Middle School Auditorium

February 20- Middle School Showcase (feeder elementary schools come to visit NMS) Registration forms handed out.

February 27th- Registrations forms due back to elementary school campus.

March 2nd- Middle School Counselors come to elementary school to register students for their middle school courses.

Rising 9th graders

It is time for our current 8th grade Null stallions to start selecting their programs of study for the upcoming 9th grade year. Please make sure to review the Power Point Video and fill out the google form to reflect what you have on your registration form.

Important Dates:

January 13th- Students view Power Point Video covering programs of study and receive their registration form

January 15th- NMS goes to view high school showcase/ Advance Academic Night @ KHS-PAC 6-7 p.m.

January 21-23 - High school counselors come to register rising 9th graders

January 23- ECHS Applications due 4 p.m.
