Welcome to Fourth Grade!

My name is Ms. Rodriguez, and I am going to be your 4th grade math and science teacher! I am very excited to have you in my class this year. I can’t wait to learn all about you, but first I will tell you a little about me.

I am originally from California and moved to Texas 6 years ago. I attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and graduated with a Master's Degree in Psychology. This will be my fourth year teaching at Monahan Elementary. When I first got to Monahan, I taught 3rd grade for two years and then moved up to 4th grade last year.

I have a 4 year old daughter named Mia and two dogs, Max and Sasha. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy going shopping, spending time with my family and watching Disney movies with my daughter.

We have a new, exciting year ahead of us as we enter into the digital world of learning. I can't wait to get to know each and every one of my students!
