We are coming to our final demise

We are so addicted to polarize

Ourselves with our small device

Glowing faces in disguise

Typing an essay to criticize

Venomous words used to satirize

Living in a pixelated paradise

Filled with deceptive lies

To not have to try and visualize

Rich individuals we choose to idolize

When they lack the ability to patronize

In their presence, we lose the ability to act civilized

It’s time to realize

That it’s life we need to emphasize

Not this game of social butterflies
