Realize The Dream Medal

The Realize the Dream Medal honors individuals who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to service, leadership, and creating positive change in their communities. Established as a recognition of meaningful volunteerism, and a replacement for the PVSA the medal celebrates individuals who dedicate their time to improving the lives of others through community service.

The program recognizes three levels of achievement based on service hours: Bronze (50 - 74 hours), Silver (75 - 99 hours), and Gold (100+ hours). Each level represents not only the number of hours served but also a individual's dedication to making a lasting impact through compassion, community engagement, and leadership.

As community continues to grow, the Realize the Dream Medal serves as a way to recognize individuals whose service inspires others in their community. By honoring young changemakers, the medal encourages a lifelong commitment to volunteerism and reminds us that every act of service whether big or small helps build stronger, more connected communities.

Eligible hours can include any unpaid acts of service. This includes club volunteer work (NHS, Leo’s Club, CSF, CJSF, etc.), volunteer hours from other service learning awards (Seal of Service and Congressional Award), and volunteer hours outside of PUSD (library, church, community center, etc.). Hours from ASB or other in-school student councils/government will not be eligible for this award.

Award levels are based on the cumulative hours throughout one service year.

Bronze: 50-74 Hours Silver: 75-99 Hours Gold: 100+ Hours
