This site aims to help parents and families how to best understand and support their LGBTQIA+ children. Families can find advice and information from LGBTQIA+ youth, their family members and teachers, and youth gender and sexuality experts.

Parenting Non-Binary Kids

Are you parenting a child who falls outside of the traditional gender binary? This video is for you! Gender Spectrum’s Lisa Kenney and Pamela Wool provide an overview of issues for parents of non-binary children and teens to keep in mind. 

Family Acceptance Project

The Family Acceptance Project, in collaboration with the University of Maryland, has put together resources for LGBTQ+ youth and families to access clear and accurate information about sexual orientation, gender identity, and more. Culture-based, evidence-based, and faith-based resources are also available to help support LGBTQ+ youth from all communities.

Clay Counseling

Register here.


Clay Counseling, which serves the San Bernadino and Riverside County communities, runs an online support group for parents and caregivers of LGBTQ+ youth. Class fee is $150 at time of registration.
