Greetings to all!

It is a pleasure for me to teach English at Chu-lin Elementary School. The students I am teaching in Chu-lin are first and second-graders who are not advanced. Each week, I have six classes with my students. For non-advanced low graders, Let's Go Materials and Oxford Phonics Series Books are used.

Low-grade students are expected to learn basic conversation skills, classroom language commands, and basic sounds such as phonemes, digraphs, diphthongs, etc. In the classroom, students are encouraged to speak English and memorize daily sentences. It is essential to listen and speak before reading and writing. The students will begin reading short texts in the second grade.

Learning a new language gives you the chance to be a different person if you want to. Make the most of that chance.

Self-Introduction

Why I want to be an English teacher? I guess the main reason was that ever since I was a child I love everything that is associated with English such as food, music, film, and etc. My sister often laughs at me I possess a second soul in my body. I enjoy working with different aged level group of students no matter how long I have taught English even though sometimes I feel dragged after teaching my classes. When I am teaching English, I always can learn from my students or try to understand why some students are unable to learn English.

I may not the best English teacher in my school, but I make great effort into teaching and connecting to my students. My main goal is to encourage and inspire my students to use English to connect to the world.
