How many gates are there in DaFeng Elementary School?
There are two gates on campus. The Front Gate (1st Gate) is on Minzu Rd. and the Second Gate is on Dafeng Rd. Please tell the homeroom teacher, which gate the student would take and go home when school ends. The students will walk together and dismiss in front of the gate or the second gate.
What time is the best time to go to school?
School Time: Half Day 8:00 am~12:00 pm Full Day 8:00 am~3:50 pm
Grade 1 & 2: Tuesday is a full day, and the rest of the weekdays are half day.
Grade 3 & 4: Wednesday and Friday are full days, and the rest of the weekdays are half days.
Grade 5 & 6: Wednesday is half day, and the rest of the weekdays are full day.
When and how would I pay the tuition fee?
After 2~3 weeks of school starts, students will get the sheet of tuition fees from the homeroom teacher. Parents could pay for it at 7-11, Family Mart, and other convenience stores with the sheet of tuition fees during some certain period. After paying, please hand in recipt to the homeroom teacher.
When should a student wear school sportswear?
Students should wear school sportswear with a sewing name tag on the chest of the left-hand side every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. They can wear casual outfits every Wednesday and Friday.
Does the school provide after class care?
Please contact with Teaching Facilities Section of the Educational Affairs Division. Teacher Lai's extension number is 813.
Does the school provide Lunch?
1. Students can bring their lunch with a stainless steel lunchbox from home and heat it with a steamed oven at school.
2. We provide school lunch for students and it costs NT 50 dollars per meal. Students will get the sheet of the lunch fee every month from the homeroom teacher. Parents can pay for the lunch fee at one of convenience stores, such as, 7-11, Family Mart, OK, Hi! Life. Please let the homeroom teacher know if a student wants to have school lunch. Students should prepare their tableware (bowl, spoon, and so on) when they have full day class.
Does the school provide club class?
Yes, we provide various club classes for students after school from Monday to Friday. Please contact with Student Activities Section of the Student Affairs Section. Teacher Fong's extension number is 822.
Can a student take an influenza vaccine ( flu shot ) in school?
Students with NHI (National Health Insurance) card can get the free influenza vaccine ( flu shot) at school. If students without NHI (National Health Insurance) card would get a notification sheet. A students get a free shot after he/she gets the Health Insurance Card in Health Center in Xindian or other clinics which work with Health Centers in Xindian to take free flu vaccine with the notification sheet,
