WCCPBA 2022

Welcome to Woodin's WCCPBA page!

Each year, the Washington Library Association celebrates some of the very best picture books for young readers. A panel of librarians select 20 books that students in grades K-3 all across Washington State will read and vote on. One winner will be announced in the spring of 2022!

As we read this year's nominees together in the library, I will also be posting recorded read-alouds of each book on this page. The purpose of posting them here is twofold: 1.) To allow for students to hear their favorites as many times as they wish, and/or 2.) For students who have to miss school and want to hear a story they missed in library.

Do you want to learn more about this year's nominees? Click on the image to the left to visit the WCCPBA page!

To listen to a story, click on the book cover. Below each book, I have noted which week this book was read during library. Be sure to check back often as new videos will be added each time we read another nominee!
