Mrs. Schock
Fifth Grade Teacher
Hollywood Hill Elementary - Room 28
I hope you had a great summer vacation! I spent a big portion of my summer visiting many of the wonderful places our region has to offer. My family enjoyed a week at Cannon Beach as well as several trips to Mt. Rainier, Snoqualmie Falls, Port Townsend, and Whidbey Island. In addition to all of our family adventures, Carson and I spent a huge chunk of time at Soccer. He played and I watched!
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Urban Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas.
I began teaching at Hollywood Hill in 2015 as a 6th grade teacher. Prior to that, I taught in Fort Worth Texas for 8 years. During that time, I taught everything from second grade to sixth grade and I even spent a year as a teacher leader in my district; helping new teachers get started and providing training.
I know this is going to be an absolutely amazing year. I cannot wait to get started. Come ready with a smile!
