My name is Hannah Fast and I am an Algebra 1 and Algebra 2/Trigonometry teacher at Leota Middle School. I grew up in Kenmore and was a student in the Northshore School District. I attended Kenmore Elementary, Kenmore Junior High, and Inglemoor High School. I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was in the third grade. In order to pursue this dream, I attended Western Washington University where I studied elementary education and secondary mathematics. I also obtained my master's degree in educational technology from Boise State University.Â
Before coming to Leota, I was an intervention mathematics teacher at Cedar Valley Community School, a seventh grade math teacher at Kamiakin Middle School, and an EAP teacher at Sunrise Elementary. I also worked for the Pacific Science Center for six summers. I am very excited to be joining the staff at Leota Middle School! In my spare time I like to sing, bake, go to the theater, and attend Mariners games.
