Haiku & Limerick Spotlight
A few weeks ago, we learned about the connection between music, rhythm, and poetry. We put out a challenge to 3rd-5th graders to submit Haikus and Limericks.
We will be spotlighting a few each week- scroll through the slides on the left to read a few!
Welcome to Woodin Music with Mrs. Lee!
On this website, you will find instructions for your weekly music lessons and activities. Each Monday, there will be one music lesson as well as 1-2 extra activities posted on your grade level page. Look to the black bar on the top of the website to find your grade level.
When you have completed a music lesson or activity, please fill in and submit the Exit Slip. This is not connected to attendance, but is a way for me to see who is completing the weekly activities, and it offers students an opportunity to communicate with me what they are doing each week. Click your page now to get started!
In addition, we will be offering a Live Specialist Zoom with all 5 specialist teachers to say hello, briefly go over directions for the lessons and activities, and to answer any questions every Monday. Your classroom teacher will send you the link to join. Take a look at the rules and expectations to the left for the Zoom meetings.

Step 1: At the top of this website or under this step, click on your grade level.
Step 2: Complete the music lesson posted.
Step 3: Throughout the week, choose an additional 1 or 2 activities below the lesson to complete.
Step 4: Please fill out the Exit Slip to let me know what activities you completed and/or to send me a message. I'll respond to you through your apps.nsd.org email.
