Mr. Snyder in 3rd grade
Mr. Snyder decided he wanted to be a teacher when he was in third grade. He began his teaching career teaching fourth and fifth grade at Ridgewood Elementary in Kent School District. He then moved to Sunrise where he has taught both third and fourth grade.
Growing up in Seattle, Mr. Snyder was the third generation in his family to graduate from Ballard High School. (Yes, he has Scandinavian roots and even took Norwegian as his foreign language in high school.) He graduated from Seattle Pacific University, and after teaching a few years, received his Masters in Education through Lesley University.
Mr. Snyder and his wife have three sons. Between family, school, and church activities, and their dogs, Harry and Rosie, they keep pretty busy. He enjoys teaching, reading, singing/choir, walking, swimming, biking, architecture, Disneyland, and theatre pipe organs.
