About Mr. Adams

High Expectations + Accountability = Successful Students

I have been teaching Jr High since 2004, and it is the best part of my day, week, month and year! I'm a local boy, growing up in the Kirkland/Bothell area, and attending Finn Hill Jr High and Juanita High School. Go Rebs!!

I wanted to be a Student-Athlete in college and was fortunate enough to play football at Linfield College, and play for the team that broke a National All-Levels Record for Consecutive Winning Seasons. My Wildcats have had a winning season for every season since 1956. It was special to break this record that Notre Dame set in the 1920's. Linfield also provided an outstanding education in the field of teaching. I earned a BS in Middle Level Education.

Upon graduating, I wanted to earn my Masters Degree before starting my full-time teaching career. I enrolled in UW-Bothell, as I had always dreamed of becoming a DAWG! I earned a M.Ed in 2003.

After 6 years of teaching, I felt like I wanted to take my teaching to the next level, so I started the long process of earning my National Board Certificate. I earned my NBCT in 2011.

In 2012, I fell in love and was lucky enough to get her to fall in love with me. I was married in July 2014 to Mrs. Adams, a science teacher down the hall.

Our first child was born in October of 2016! Samantha Adams lights up our days with her smile and giggles!

I am looking forward to my next professional challenge!
