Creativity, Activity and Service

Class of 2021 CAS Requirements

1. Finish up your Semester 1 CAS by: adding 2 pieces of evidence to each of your Semester 1 CAS experiences; writing fully developed reflections of 2-3 paragraphs each for each of your Semester 1 CAS experiences; getting supervisor reviews for outside of school experiences.

DUE: Monday Feb. 3

2. Decide on what you will do for your CAS Project. When you've decided, propose your CAS Project on Managebac (same requirements as for other CAS experiences). Fill out your CAS Project Planning Form as you go.

3. Propose your Semester 2 CAS experiences. You need: a minimum of 3 CAS experiences: one Creative, one Active, one Service. You need to show that you are doing CAS on a weekly basis over the course of the semester. Describe each activity using at least 4-5 sentences: who, what, where, when, how often, plus your goals tied to 2-3 learning outcomes. If you are continuing with an activity that you used for CAS in Semester 1, you need to set new goals and choose new learning outcomes.

DUE: Monday Feb. 10.

Class of 2020 CAS Requirements

1. By Feb. 14, complete your reflections and add two pieces of evidence (photographs work well) for each experience. For your reflections, please write one fully developed paragraph per learning outcome you chose (2-3 full paragraphs.) See page 12-13 in the CAS Handbook attached below if you need help with reflections.

2. Propose one final CAS experience for Semester 2 senior year from any strand you choose. It should be something you do on a weekly basis. Describe it thoughtfully with a 4-5 sentence proposal that speaks directly to a few (no more than 2-3) learner outcomes . Explain: who, what, where, when, how often and state your goals tied to 2-3 learning outcomes. If you are using a CAS experience you've already used in the past, you should have new goals and choose new learning outcomes. Participate in the experience until the end of March. Complete your reflections and add your evidence by the end of April.

CAS Project:

If you have completed your CAS Project but haven't yet written your reflection on Managebac, complete your reflection and add your evidence by the end of April.
