I joined the Northshore School District teaching at Lockwood Elementary in 1991. I have been enjoying teaching sixth grade since then with a brief interruption as an elementary reading specialist for few years back when my own children were young. I joined the staff at Canyon Park Middle School in 2017 when the district adopted a middle school model.

I am delighted to be teaching at CPMS. This is an amazing community with motivated students and supportive parents. I love reading and writing. I strive to inspire students to share my enthusiasm and learn to recognize their own potential. With a growth mindset and a desire to learn, all students can be successful!
