Meet the Music Teachers!

Mrs. Murphy

General Music

Mrs. Murphy is so excited to join the Frank Love Music Team this year! She is teaching K-5 general music! Mrs. Murphy is in her 11th year teaching, and taught most recently in the Issaquah School District. She has taught everything from high school choir to elementary steel drum band, and is so excited to explore all of the amazing voices and instruments at She enjoys playing piano, singing, and hanging out with her husband and two kids!

Mrs. Cook

General Music

Hello Cheetah Families!

Mrs. Cook is so excited to join the Frank Love Music Team this year, teaching K-5 general music! This is her first year teaching in Washington, but has been teaching everything from children's choir to costume design, even directing school musicals for the past 9 years! Mrs. Cook is so excited to meet and make music with the wonderful Frank Love community. In her free time, she enjoys, singing, sewing, and spending time with her husband!

Ms. Seibert

5th Grade Band

Ms. Seibert grew up in the Northshore School District, going to Maywood Hills Elementary, Canyon Park Junior High, and Bothell High. This is her second year teaching in the Northshore School District, and she is teaching 5th grade band at 6 different elementary schools. Ms. Seibert began playing flute in 5th grade band, and she just graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a double major in Flute Performance and Music Education. She is so excited to get to work with all of you this year!

Mrs. Ponté

5th Grade Orchestra

Mrs. Pontén started playing violin in 4th grade. She has played professionally with the Whatcom Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Bellevue with City Opera Ballet, the Bozeman Symphony, and the Northwest Symphony Orchestra. She currently plays violin at St. James Cathedral, where she also directs the children’s choir program. Mrs. Pontén also sings professionally with Opus 7, and at St. James Cathedral. She also teaches private violin lessons:) Other instruments she knows are the ukulele and piano!
