All classes will visit the library during September
Interactive Notebook Set-Up Directions
Every day in class, you will need:
- Single-subject composition notebook
- Writing utensil
- Independent reading book
Other suggested supplies:
- Different-colored highlighters
- Sticky notes
- Tape and/or glue
- Approved electronic device with headphones

Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening... EVERY DAY
Class activities will include reading class novels and independent books of choice, writing a variety of creative and analytical pieces, engage with your peers about topics included in our curriculum, culture, and climate.
We will be using technology in class on a regular basis, including TurnItIn.com for all digital assignments.
Your course grade will be ALL POINTS, no percentage weighting.
Your assignments will be categorized by Reading, Writing, Speaking & Listening, and Language.
I like to create a classroom that is creative, fun, interactive, and engaging -- all in an effort to think deeply.
