Wasilla High School Swimming and Diving Team is a program that strives to serve the good of the team and each individual. No athlete is above any other, all student-athletes are expected to work hard, show discipline, demonstrate dependability, and embody teamwork. The program is designed to encourage and support all swimmers and divers regardless of ability to reach their swimming and/or diving goals, develop character, exhibit the highest sportsmanship, and to build leaders in and out of the pool. 

 General Season Info:

• Practices for Swimming and Diving season start August 5th

• Swim and Dive Practice - Monday through Friday - 2:30-4:00 PM @ WHS Pool

• All participants must have a completed physical and registration prior to the first practice on Aug 6th, see the WHS activities website for full list of requirements.

• Swimmers and divers of all experience levels are welcome and encouraged to join.

• Swimmers will need a swimsuit, cap, and goggles prior to the first day of practice. 

• Divers will need a swimsuit.

• • These can be found at local stores or ordered online. I recommend using swimoutlet.com because they have reasonable prices, good customer service, delivery, and return policies.

• 10/25: No Competition ~ Rest up for Regions next weekend!

• 10/30-31: Regions @ Palmer High School  w/ WHS hosting 

• 11/6-7: State Championships (must qualify) @ Bartlett High School
