Cold Weather Dress Code

During cold weather, students must dress warmly. Recess is a very important part of the day, and it is a School District policy that children attend recess and outdoor PE. They may be excused only with a doctor’s note.  If you feel that your child is too sick to attend recess, we ask that you please do not send your child to school. 

When sending your child to school, we urge you to dress him/ her according to the weather conditions. The students are expected to play outside at recess if the temperature or the chill factor is above -10 degrees. The child should be comfortable and protected from inclement weather.
