Trauma-Informed Healing Centered Pedagogy

Trauma-Informed Healing Center Pedagogy asks educators to incorporate more healing spaces and assignments to foster growth and learning for students with trauma.  This pedagogy acknowledges how trauma impacts students and their ability to focus on learning when their priority is survival. As a result, healing is incorporated alongside academics to promote resilience and well-being.
