More about Reimagining the Future: Global Justice Days at SCC
Thank you for your interest in Reimagining the Future: Earth and Global Justice Days at Sacramento City College! This represents three separate days:
Sustainable Futures, Tuesday 4.19.2022 (online).
Earth Day on the Quad, Thursday 4.21.2022 (in-person) has been cancelled due to weather.
Global Justice Day, Thursday, 4.28.2022 (online).
Please note above that in addition to two online days of full virtual/online programming, we will be hosting an in-person SCC Welcome Back Earth Day Thursday, April 21st, 11 am to 3 pm, on the SCC Quad, with SambaDá Brazilian music and dance ensemble, solar cooking, food, and free giveaways. Please join us!
For more details on either Earth Day or the Global Justice Days, click on the tab at the top right of the page. Registration links also are included below.
We are elated you have found this site, and we are excited about you joining us for as much of the 3 days as you can. This is a chance beyond the deep conversations that will happen around sustainability and climate change to reconnect to the SCC community, and for the SCC community to connect with our local and global community partners.

For our virtual and in-person events, we could use some help!
In the virtual setting, we may need to help registrants and participants with Zoom room management, note taking, monitoring chat, and more.
For in-person events, we could use help with guiding visitors on campus, setting up before and cleaning up after.
