I have taught at the college and university level since 1992 and continue to enjoy it immensely. My areas of expertise are Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Information Systems, and my primary research area is the development of curricular guidance. In addition to my full-time teaching assignment at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento, California, I have also taught part-time at the Technische Hochschule Georg Agricola, a university of applied sciences in Bochum, Germany, since 2014.
My wife and I regularly travel to different parts of the world to visit family and friends and to participate in cultural events, but we also enjoy ocean cruising, viewing wildlife in natural habitats, and camping with friends.
I serve as the Artistic Director of the STV Alpentänzer Schuhplattler Austrian and Bavarian folk dance troupe based in Sacramento, California, and I play the accordion in the Alpentanzkapelle band.
My wife and I are members of the Sacramento Turn Verein German cultural organization.
My wife and I support and regularly patronize the B Street Theatre and other Sacramento area arts and entertainment venues.
