Psychology C1000 - Spring 2026
General Principles, Psyc C1000, introduces students to the field of psychology. The course provides a solid foundation for students with many different majors.
Tuesday/Thursday classes:
Meet on Tuesdays AND Thursdays every week of the semester in the assigned classroom at the times specified on your class schedule.
My Tuesday/Thursday courses are "web enhanced" - see page 49 (print page 47) of the ARC College Catalog for a description. In this case, the class course meets 100% of the time in person AND there are assignments each week only accessed via Canvas.
You will have in class assignments, lectures, and other activities during the in-person class times.
There are specific due dates for all graded work. Once an assignment is made available, students may always submit work early, but the due date and time is the last moment graded work is accepted for full credit. Details are found on the course syllabus which will be made available just before the semester starts.
Online courses:
The courses are hosted on Canvas and is asynchronous, but not self-paced.
What that means is that all students will be working on the same course assignments each week of the semester, but which days/times you do so during each week is up to you.
