Choose your Own Adventure: Video Making APplications

Presentation Overview

Beginning and advanced video creators will get hands-on practice at using one of several video making applications in this workshop. Participants will learn about the value of adding video to your courses before joining one of four breakout rooms, each focused on a different video making technology: Canvas Studio, Screencast-o-matic, Adobe Spark, OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) with Adobe Premiere Rush.

In the breakout rooms, participants will be given a preview of the application, will be shown examples of videos made using that program, and then will get an opportunity to try it out themselves, with support from the presenter. We'll conclude by discussing how to upload videos to YouTube, to share with others. Each breakout session will be recorded, so participants can view other applications after the presentation has concluded.
