KADLE
Aesthetically I am inspired by the skylines and symmetry of the built environment which is the current theme of Stephanie Kadle Photography; a series that explores the skyline views of Sacramento, California that many will never get to see from where they live in the city.
This series of photographs takes as its theme a circular walk in the many directions of a compass with the view perspective from the top one Sacramento’s many skyscrapers, and by offering observations and impressions of the Sacramento skyline, rather than another literal interpretation. The Skyline series lets everyday residents of the Sacramento area explore a sense of the spatial view that many never really get to see from within the city they live in, presenting a response to what it feels like to view these unique perspectives in and around Sacramento that will draw people into looking a built environment as art in these skyline views and gaining a greater appreciation of the city even more.
