I have spent over 44 work years using my left side of my brain. Time for the right side to get some fun. My work is currently in the exploration stage, I am trying to move past my fears and just create something that pleases me. My goal is to help others move past any fears of starting art and using anything they can find to make it. That is what I have done. With boxes of craft supplies, I have created some mixed media pieces that have meaning to me. My art is what I will create alongside those that I am a caretaker for (from 2 to 97 years) and gives us moments of laughter as we find our artistic selves. My art ideas are mostly sourced from Pinterest boards and creating my version of what inspired me from painting, to sewing, to needlepoint to upcycled thrift items. As my boards have about 999 pins, I will be busy for quite some time! And enjoying every minute of making something of myself!
